Progressive Radiology now provides innovative women’s wellness imaging services in the Bel-Air and Hagerstown area with the most advanced breast cancer detection technology available. The new centers will offer 3D mammography and breast ultrasound in relaxed spa-like settings with friendly, welcoming staff.

Our highly trained, compassionate technologists will perform your exams in a private office setting. All exams will be interpreted by fellowship-trained, board-certified radiologists. We are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the preferred outpatient provider of diagnostic imaging services in the tri-state area. In addition, Progressive offers the latest technology in MRI, low dose CT, US and digital X-Ray services.
3D mammography has been shown to increase the detection of invasive breast cancer by 41 percent while dramatically reducing unnecessary callbacks for additional testing. The system works by taking multiple images during the exam, which are then compiled into a reconstruction of the breast providing an enhanced view. At our new centers, 3D mammography is available for both screening and diagnostic exams. The images are read by board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologists who specialize in women’s imaging.

Appointments can be made online and with short notice, sometimes on the same day. The center features a relaxing atmosphere with warm cloth robes, private dressing rooms, along with aromatherapy, soft music and an assortment of hot and cold beverages in the waiting room. Results are delivered quickly, generally within one business day of the exam.
