David S. Chiang, M.D.

Dr. Chiang is a board-certified radiologist originally from Wilmington, Delaware. He attended Princeton University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Subsequently, he obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Chiang completed his radiology residency at Cooper University Hospital. During training, Dr. Chiang demonstrated his avid interest for neuroradiology with several poster presentations at national meetings. He was awarded the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award for his commitment to research during residency.

Following residency, Dr. Chiang subspecialized in neuroradiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. During fellowship he was trained to read advanced neuro imaging and exposed to a wide range of pathology. He also trained in spine imaging under Dr. Adam Flanders, a nationally recognized leader in the field. Dr. Chiang is skilled at performing image guided lumbar punctures and myelograms.

Dr. Chiang is dedicated to providing outstanding service to patients and referring physicians as part of the Progressive Radiology team based in Chicago
