Progressive Radiology at Foxhall has a state of the art GE Discovery MR750w 3T Wide Bore MRI, one of the first of its kind in the country.

One of the highest quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) systems in the D.C. Metro area, the GE 3T Wide Bore MRI is capable of producing advanced images for your specialized needs; most notably for neurological and musculoskeletal imaging. The GE 3T Wide Bore MRI allows for faster exam times and produces higher quality images, allowing our radiologists to better diagnose abnormalities that lesser field strength MRI systems will often miss.

In addition to the 3T Wide Bore MRI, Progressive Radiology at Foxhall is pleased to introduce the GE Optima MR430s 1.5T Extremity MRI. This specialty scanner delivers precise imaging with exceptional comfort and excellence image quality. The open magnet design eliminates the feeling of claustrophobia because only the targeted anatomy – whether it’s an arm or a leg – goes inside the system. This extremity unit is the only one in the Washington Metropolitan area!

Progressive Radiology has been at this location under the name of Foxhall MRI since 2001. Our patients and clinicians are given exceptional care and service. We provide top-quality images, reports delivered within 24 hours, pre-authorization assistance, evening and weekend appointments. Reports are interpreted by subspecialty trained and board certified radiologists.
